He has worked extensively as a strategic advisor for high-level organizations that are at the forefront of technology and innovation, wealth management, digital assets, and cryptocurrencies throughout the world.

Jonathan is a highly experienced legal advisor to Web3.0 firms and has specialized in blockchain and open-source systems for nearly a decade. He was an early adviser on the key decentralized structures now used throughout the industry, advises on global blockchain projects throughout their entire lifecycle and regularly acts as lead counsel on major equity and token raisings for his clients. He advises on product design for crypto networks, protocols and instruments, offering and sale of fungible and non-fungible crypto assets and stablecoins, tokenization, formation of decentralized autonomous organizations, governance, custody arrangements, registration and licensing requirements, regulatory compliance obligations and corporate matters.

Zachary carries over fifteen years of practical legal and regulatory experience advising companies, investors, and market participants regarding their compliance obligations under federal securities laws. His experience spans nine years at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Division of Corporate Finance and Office of the General Counsel. Among other things, Zachary served as a special Advisor to the SEC’s General Counsel and later as Senior Special Counsel to Director of the Division of Corporation Finance. Prior to the SEC, he practiced at Latham & Watkins. He is an expert on the federal securities laws, particularly issues around small company capital formation and various exemptions from registration under the Securities Act of 1933. Zachary helped lead key internal SEC investigations in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis and was key to many of the SEC’s regulatory policy decisions made following adoption of the JOBS Act. He was the principal drafter of the Regulation A proposing and adopting release (aka Reg A+), as well as the SEC’s proposing release on Intrastate and Regional Crowdfunding exemptions.

As a Partner at Pacifica Legal, his expertise lies in Emerging Technologies, including distributed ledger technologies, as well as in Cross-border Transactions, and Aviation. Edgar holds a Ph.D. and an LL.M in International Private Law with an emphasis on Arbitration and Investments from RUDN University, Moscow, in addition to an LL.B. from the University of Panama.

Varun Sharat is the Founder of Charybdis Capital Management where he advises family offices and hedge funds. His background spans 8 years across both the buy-side and sell-side in Research, Capital Markets, and Sales on Wall Street.Varun brings his expertise in research, capital markets, and strategic partnerships to Chateau.

Hao Jun Tan is a New York City based trader, software engineer and entrepreneur interested in cryptocurrency, financial markets and asymmetrical risks. He is the CEO and Cofounder of Chateau Protocol. He has been investing and building in the crypto and digital assets space for over 10 years, having helped launch multiple projects, and worked in funds/decentralized finance/exchange/brokerage/otc businesses.

Dmitry has an MS in cryptography, and is a thought leader and international speaker in Blockchain, DeFi, AI, Gaming, and investments.

He spent over 21 years creating and managing remote teams in a variety of industries both startups and established enterprises. Building products from concept to delivery. Software architecture, product management, and business development.

Keith Simons started his career as a floor trader in NYMEX. He has been an active Futures and Equities trader for the past 30 years.

Keith has also worked on sourcing, structuring, and closing private market deals for the past 20 years in Private Equity and Venture Capital.

He leads Chateau's sales team.

Karl Douglas is the CIO of Covenant Venture Capital and Insight Family Office. His background spans 45 years of Investment Banking in some of the most prestigious institutions on Wall Street.

Karl brings his expertise in capital markets deal sourcing, and structuring to Chateau

David is a highly creative brand builder and crypto-native marketing leader. Recently, he led marketing for Republic, a global fintech focused on transforming digital finance through private market tokenization. There, David oversaw marketing for all of the company’s crypto initiatives including the launch of its security token, multi-chain multisig wallet, blockchain infrastructure platform, and digital asset management division. Now, he serves primarily as a fractional CMO and marketing advisor to early and growth stage web3 businesses, including Chateau Capital.

David has been an active investor in the cryptocurrency space since 2013.
